As a Florida based multifaceted creative artist, I specialize in crafting films and digital content using my expertise in directing, editing, motion design, videography, and graphic design. With a passion for storytelling, my aim is to create impactful and engaging content that resonates with the audience.
I was born on May 30, 1985, in Kiev, Ukraine, and later moved to Israel, where I graduated from the WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education. In 2007, I completed my studies at the Tiltan College of Design and Visual Communication and began my career as an Art Director at production houses based in Tel Aviv.
After returning to Kiev in 2009, I started working as a freelancer with local production companies. My work involved creating motion graphic designs for various projects, including TV commercials, advertising campaigns, and title sequences for TV shows and films. After a couple of years, I landed a job as an Art Director at MTV Ukraine, where I was responsible for maintaining the channel's identity and developing motion graphic designs for its shows. Eventually, I went back to being a freelancer and began collaborating with production studios located in LA, NY, and SF.
In 2015, I launched my career as a film director and have since written and directed two feature films and five short films. In 2021, I made the move to the United States, excited to continue my journey as a creative artist and storyteller.
In 2018, I released my first feature film, a horror movie called «Lysa Hora» (also known as "The Hill of Hell"), which premiered in theaters and on various digital platforms.
This project was a true labor of love, as I not only wrote the screenplay but also directed and produced the film.
Additionally, I took on the role of director of photography.
«Lysa Hora» was a challenging project, but it allowed me to fully explore my creative vision and passion for storytelling on the big screen.
The film was selected to participate in the Molodist International Film Festival, an accredited FIAPF festival that has been running since 1970.
My second feature film, «The Inglorious Serfs» is a unique blend of adventure, satire, and western genres. As the screenwriter and director of the film, I brought my vision to life on the big screen.
The film prizes for Best Director and Best Film at several international film festivals and has since become a cult favorite on the local market.
«The Inglorious Serfs» was also inspired by the works of Quentin Tarantino and crafted as a unique mashup of multiple genres and alternative history.
«Don't Own It» tells a terrifying story of a cursed object that brings destruction to those who possess it.
I took on the roles of writer, director, producer, and director of photography, giving me full creative autonomy over the project despite the budgetary constraints.
With limited resources, I pushed the boundaries of creativity to craft a visually stunning and suspenseful story.
«Don't Own It» was recognized for its excellence and won the "Best Horror" award at the Toronto Indie Shorts festival.
«Кумар» («Withdrawal») is a reflection of my passion for horror and experimental filmmaking. The short film offers a unique and thrilling experience, featuring dynamic shots, a haunting score, and exceptional sound design.
As the producer, director, and director of photography, I brought to life a gripping micro-budget horror film.
I leveraged inventive camera work, atmospheric lighting, and meticulous storytelling to create a memorable and haunting experience that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
I'm excited to expand my creative horizons beyond the world of filmmaking and explore new opportunities in commercial direction.
